Rozelle Service Station 1924 & 1925
| Rozelle Service Station was built in 1924 and 1925. It
was located on the northwest corner of Main Avenue and Park Street.
Frank M. Rozelle was the owner, but he often had someone else to run it
for him.
The second picture is what was left of this building after a tornado hit Sylacauga on Monday, March 21, 1932. Twenty-two people were killed instantly, and several others died a short time later. |
