The Support Services Division (SSD) serves the department in functions of communications and corrections. The SSD has nine civilian personnel that handle various functions.

There are eight officers that handle communications/corrections for the department on a 24 hour basis working 3 shifts a day. Communications/Corrections receives all calls for service. This includes both emergency and non-emergency calls. They dispatch all police/fire/ambulance calls for the city. And they are also responsible for the day to day operations of the city jail. handle most of the data input to the records management system and
all walk-in traffic for the records office. |
