The
Sylacauga Police Department's patrol division acts as the front line of the
department in providing basic public safety services to the community.
The division consists of the patrol commander, two watch commanders, five
shift supervisors, one nuisance abatement officer, two K9 officers, and
twenty patrolmen.
Officers handle a variety of criminal and non-criminal calls. These
calls may range from robbery to investigating traffic accidents to assisting
citizens in need.
