Wants Yours! Sylacauga, AL . . . The new Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce staff and board of directors want to know how you feel about the chamber of commerce. This is YOUR opportunity to tell us how you feel and what you want from the chamber of commerce. The board of directors’ committees have begun to meet in order to work toward the 2001 Program of Action. The first on the list was the Five-Year Planning & Development committee meeting. The discussion led to “what do the people want?” Hence, the survey was born. Please look for a survey the first of February, which will solicit your ideas, suggestions and concerns to help us prepare for the coming years! “The purpose of the survey will be to determine the needs of the community,” stated Crystal Ricks, Executive Director, Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce. “We want the entire community involved in our future! We also want the community involved in our committees. If you are interested in volunteering some time to help make our future great, please give us a call.” Working for the future!
