Lorena Rush played the piano.
Betty Cox played first saxophone.
Carolyn Rush played tenor saxophone.
Bonnie Faye Talley played fourth saxophone.
Rosemary Peters was the drummer.
Billy Rowe played first trumpet.
Larry Edmunds played second trumpet.
Eldridge Wyatt played baritone saxophone.
Williard Gay played trombone.
Melford Williams played trombone.

We were unable to name all of these students until I received a telephone call from Melford Williams who attended Comer High School, played in the band and in this orchestra. He had seen this article on the library's website.
