· Sign up begins Monday, June 1st and ends Saturday, June 27th.
· Children ages 3-15 may participate.
· Registration will take place at Children’s Circulation desk on second floor during regular business hours.
· Each child will receive: -Reading log -Bookmark -Programs schedule
· At this time, child will set reading goal of how many books they will attempt to read. A minimum of 10 books is required for pre-k and 5 books for juveniles. The first (incentive) prize will be given for the goal!
· Child will record the titles of books read on the Reading Log.
· Books read must be those checked out from B.B. Comer Library during this period.
· Once the reading goal is attained, the child should bring the Reading Log to the librarian for the second incentive prize at any time before July 22nd.
· To encourage further reading, a certificate and a final prize will be awarded between July 22nd and August 8th.
· Summer Reading Club will end and no more prizes will be award after August 8th 2009. Children are encouraged to continue reading!
· Attendance at all programs provided by B.B. Comer Library is not · subject to membership.
