Sylacauga History Fact

This document  dated 1891 states the Marble City Land &
Furnace Company will hold a land sale at Sylacauga on
April 9th, 1891, at which time they will offer a limited 
number of business and residence lots to enlist your
cooperation. Prices on business lots ten to twenty-five
dollars per front foot, residence lots three to six dollars
per front foot, etc.
