Summer Reading Programs 2010

Summer Reading Club Rules
"Make a Splash-Read!"
Registration Begins Tuesday, June 1st and Ends Friday, July 2nd

Children ages 3-15 may participate.
Register in Children's Department during regular business hours.
At registration each child will receive:

-Reading Log
-Bookmark
-Program Schedule
-Reading Rules
-Incentive Prize (Fish Catch)

At registration, each child sets a reading goal. A minimum of 10 books for PreK-Grade 2, and 5 books for grades 3 & up. Grades determined by school grade just completed.

Child will record titles read on Reading Log.

Books read must be checked out from B.B. Comer Library.

Once goal is met, child should bring Reading Log to librarian for a prize and an entry to grand prize drawing before July 30th.

To encourage "further reading", an entry to a grand prize drawing will be given for each additional 5 books for pre-k and 2 books for juvenile.

All entries must be received (in sand bucket) by July 30th to be eligible for prizes.

Drawing for grand prizes will be held on July 31st. Winners will be notified by phone.

Only registered participants will receive entries and prizes.

Attendance at all programs provided by B.B. Comer Library is not subject to membership.
